Hello, my name is Camilo Díaz, and I belong to my family’s fourth generation of craftsmen. My father, my grandfather and great-grandfather dedicated their lives to design and manufacture within a wide range of professions in the creative sector. Art and design, ceramics, furniture and architecture have been part of my life from an early age, becoming a way of life.

For the last fifteen years I have worked for recognized companies in different countries and immersed myself in projects that covered many of these disciplines. After years of learning and great creative moments, I have decided to embrace the permanence of tradition: artisan and artistic trades. 

Díaz Marentes Studio is not only a commitment to the design and manufacture of furniture but aims to emphasize the value of artisan trades in our culture. We want to vindicate the relevance of artisans in modern society, respecting trades and people with specific knowledge that is often transmitted from parents to children.

Our method is based on individual products made with precision, patience and care, allowing custom modifications. These creations respect a fair balance between handmade work and the use of machinery. In this way, we can offer products of the highest quality and durability. Our priority is the excellence of carpentry and blacksmithing.
